MINECRAFT JAVA 1.21.3
Overview
Welcome to Jurassicraft!
Jurassicraft is a Datapack loosely based on the Original JurassiCraft Mod first released in 2015, but in the convenient format of a Datapack along with much more content to explore.
This Datapack aims to expand upon Minecraft’s archelogy system and bring prehistoric content into your Minecraft world. This Datapack allows the player to find fossils to extract ancient dinosaur DNA to hatch their very own dinosaurs to roam their worlds.
Currently this Datapack includes 16 different dinosaurs, all with multiple variants resulting in 49 different dinosaurs to hatch and grow.
Along with a multitude of other features to work along side them and bring our worlds to life, which can be seen below in the Content Section.

Content
Items:

Amethyst Chisel
Use the Amethyst Chisel to break away at Sandstone, Dripstone, Tuff and Terracotta to revile suspicious sand and gravel which has the chance to hold ancient fossils.
Hold the chisel and crouch to chisel the block beneath you.

Archaeologist Hat
Craft and wear the Archaeologist Hat to play the part while searching for fossils or drop it to a wandering trader to hire them as a Archaeologist to trade Dino related Items.
Fossils
Fossils are found within suspicious sand and gravel that the player has exposed with the Amethyst Chisel. Fossils can be sold to the archeologist or used in the DNA Workbench to extract Dinosaur DNA.
Dino DNA
Dinosaur DNA is extracted from fossils using the DNA Workbench. Dino DNA can be used to create a Dino Embryo within the DNA Workbench or dropped onto a Hologram Projector to create a Holographic Projection of the associated Dinosaur.

Dino Embryo
Dinosaur Embryos are made within the DNA Workbench from Dinosaur DNA and a Tadpole Bucket. Dino Embryos all look the same but are all unique to each of the dinosaurs when turned into a Dinosaur Egg in the DNA Workbench.
Dino Egg
Dinosaur Eggs are made within the DNA Workbench from a Dinosaur Embryo and a Turtle Egg. Dinosaur Eggs can be placed in a Item Frame inside a Incubator to hatch into a Baby Dinosaur.

Dino Scanner
Holding a Dino Scanner will display to the player the species of the closest Dinosaur along with highlighting its hitbox with the glowing effect. Crouching while holding the Dino Scanner will display to the player growth stage of the dinosaur to see if its a Baby, Child, Teen or Adult.

Hologram Lens
The Hologram Lens can be crafted and dropped onto any beacon to turn it into a Hologram Projector. Breaking the Hologram Projector will drop the Hologram Lens.

Bundle of Plants
The Bundle of Plants can be crafted using string and any kind of overworld plant material. Dropping the Bundle of Plants onto any Herbivore Dinosaur will cause it to age up faster and gain a short effect of regeneration.

Bundle of Meat
The Bundle of Meat can be crafted using string and any kind of Raw or Cooked Meat. Dropping the Bundle of Meat onto any Carnivorous Dinosaur will cause it to age up faster and gain a short effect of regeneration.
Prehistoric
Disc Fragments can be found when digging for fossils and can be given to the Archeologist to convert into a complete music disc which can be put into a Jukebox to play Prehistoric a song composed by Kuro.
Blocks:

DNA Workbench
The DNA Workshop allows the player to extract Dinosaur DNA from fossils, fertilize Dinosaur Embryos and make Dino Eggs which can be hatched within the Incubator.|
Crafted from Iron Blocks, an Observer, a Glass Block and a Diamond.

Incubator
The Incubator allows the player to place a item frame inside the glass chamber where the player can place a Dinosaur Egg which will hatch into a Dinosaur. The Egg will crack after 30 seconds and take 1 minute to fully hatch.
Crafted from Observers, a Glass Block and a Light Weighted Pressure Plate.

Dino Hologram
Throwing a Hologram Lens onto the top of a beacon will turn it into a Hologram Projector. Throwing any Dinosaur DNA onto the Projector will create a hologram of that Dinosaur 3 blocks above it. If there is a activated Redstone torch or fully powered dust beneath the Projector, the Hologram will spin 2° every tick. If a Redstone block is placed beneath the projector the Hologram will turn 45° and the Redstone Block will be broken. If the projector is broken it will drop both the Hologram Lens and the Dinosaur DNA.

Guide
The best place to start your journey as a Archeologist is to get your hands on a brush, by holding a brush you will automatically unlock all the new Recipes.
You will need to construct the DNA Workbench to turn your fossils into Dinosaur Eggs and the Incubator to hatch them, both of these require a range of different materials.
To turn your Fossils into Dinosaur eggs you will need a Tadpole Bucket and a Turtle Egg so you might want to find a Ocean and Mangrove Forest to get a good supply of both.
Fossils are difficult to find so try and find biomes with lots of Sandstone, Dripstone, Tuff and Terracotta, like A desert, Dripstone Cave, Deepslate Caves and Mesas, which will have lots of the needed blocks for you to search through.
Dinosaurs will only age if a player is within 64 blocks of them so make sure to spend time around your dinosaurs if you want them to grow, or feed them with bundles of food to speed up their growth all together.
